Data is being increasingly distrusted

A survey of 700 IT decision makers at organizations with annual revenues of more than $250 million, conducted by Vanson Bourne on behalf of Teradata, shines a light on the extent of the problem organizations face. More than 77 percent of respondents said data accuracy is under greater scrutiny. More than half of respondents (53 percent) admit that trust in the accuracy of data has been called into question since the start of the pandemic.

Why do we care?

Listeners who deal with those large companies can directly leverage this, and those who are dealing with the SMB market should too.

Its not enough to have data, you need to trust it.   Helping customers HERE is one of those obvious yet difficult opportunities… and those are the best because they have high margins.  You get to charge for expertise.

Don’t have enough business analysists?   Start planning, because this problem will get worse before it gets better.
