A framework for delivering vCIO services with Stuart Holtby

In 1989, Stuart Holtby started Allstar Tech as a boutique IT consulting practice helping SMEs with networking microcomputers. It wasn't until the mid 90's that he began to call Allstar Tech a Managed Service Provider. By 2000, Allstar Tech grew to 35 employees with $4 million in revenue.

In 2000, he recognized the need for fractional CIO services and launched a C-suite management advisory service. The C-suite management advisory service provided interim, virtual, and fractional CIO consulting. As a fractional CIO, he helped clients improve organizational performance and operational efficiency through the practical implementation of information technology. During this period, he refined the C-suite advisory practice - focusing on making the GetInSync platform available to other like-minded MSPs.

He has a master's degree in Business Administration from Athabasca University. When not keeping busy helping MSP build their business, you can find him on the tennis court trying to improve his play.

How MSPs should interact with the FBI with Special Agent in Charge Matthew J. DeSarno

Special Agent in Charge Matthrew J. DeSarno joined the FBI in 2002 and was assigned to the San Diego Field Office. In 2009, Mr. DeSarno was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent assigned to lead the Chicago Field Office's Task Force on Gangs, and in 2013 he was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge.

In 2015, Mr. DeSarno became the Chief of the Strategic Operations Section in the Counterterrorism Division, where he led the Bureau's efforts in global counterterrorism targeting, and overseas counterterrorism human intelligence operations. In 2017, he was named a Deputy Assistant Director for the Counterterrorism Division, providing leadership oversight for all FBI's international terrorism investigations and operations.

In 2018, Director Wray selected Mr. DeSarno to serve as the Special Agent in Charge of the Criminal/ Cyber Division of the Washington Field Office, and in 2019, he was selected to lead the Dallas Field Office.

Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. DeSarno served as an Army Infantry Officer assigned to the First Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas.
