Will AI-Generated Content Be Copyrighted? US Copyright Office Wants to Know

The US Copyright Office is seeking public input on new rules and regulations around generative AI, including issues of fair use, infringement, and liability. The Office is considering regulatory action or new federal rules due to concerns about using copyrighted works to train AI models and the legal status of AI-generated outputs.
