IDC has updated their forecasts – now projecting 18.2 percent PC shipment growth over 2020. This is notebooks, desktops, and workstations. It’s also a big revision from December’s prediction, which was 1.6 percent for this year.
Why? Rising demand and the sizeable backlog from last year. Education and the work from home move is driving the surge.
