The DOJ gets its final piece of the Silk Road

The Department of Justice has revealed that is has seized roughly $1 billion in bitcoin related to the online, now defunct dark web drug marketplace Silk Road with the cooperation of an unnamed hacker.  This helps fully close the case on Silk Road, which while successfully prosecuted in 2015, had left the question as to where the money went open.
